Biografia Davide Longo

Davide Longo nasce a Carmagnola, nei pressi di Torino, nel 1971. Lavora come cameriere, pony express, operaio presso un’azienda agricola, bagnino, decoratore. Fin da ragazzo gioca a basket a livello semi-professionistico. Con Un mattino a Irgalem, il suo primo romanzo edito da Marcos y Marcos, vince i premi Grinzane Cavour 2002 e Via Po per la migliore opera prima. Attualmente continua a giocare a basket, collabora con la Scuola Holden di Torino e insegna lettere in un piccolo paese tra le colline del Roero. È stato tra gli autori di Scritture Giovani 2002.
